Cable Harness

Cable harnesses have the same function as cable trunks but have a more complex structure, more conductors, more branches and connections than the simpler cable trunk. The design of connections, conductors and possible housings is determined by the environment in which the cable harness will be located and what other requirements there may be for the cable harness. There may be requirements for high currents, vibrations, gas, oil or high IP rating – then the cable harness must be adapted accordingly.

Where is a cable harness used?

Cable harnesses are common in cars, but also occur in rollovers, wheel loaders, trucks, gas pumps, coin-operated machines and elsewhere.
